Tour Itinerary

Day 01: At 8:00 am our guide will pick you up from your Chittagong hotel and start towards Shrine of Bayazid Bostami then walk in Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery. Afterwards visit Zia Memorial Museum located in Chittagong Circuit House built from the British period. The museum interprets the lifetime of one of the most illustrious president in the history of Bangladesh who was seasoned in the very house. Walking from the museum, we will look at some establishment of British period like Railway Station, 7 Jongson road, tiger pass and more. Visit the Vatiary Lake then go to the Patenga Beach and roam around the nearby beach market. You will love the roaring sea and its waves crashing over the rocks. The Karnaphuli River is next to the city and meets the sea in the nearby area. We will travel to the Estuary of the river and set for some fresh breath. You may enjoy spicy crab fry and snakes while sitting on the rampart of the river. We may have a boat ride on the Karnaphuli River if time and tide permit (depending on the weather and availability). Head back towards your hotel using the river side road and enjoy the golden sunset at the sea port. By evening we will drop you at your Chittagong hotel or Train Station/Bus Stand.

Shrine of Bayazid Bostami:
The Shrine of Bayazid Bastami is a shrine in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Bayazid Bostami was a famous Persian Sufi born in Bostam, Iran. Its shrine area as a complex consists of a tomb surrounded by a brick structure along with an old mosque and a large pond. There is no significant historical evidence about Bostami's visit and tomb in this area. The whole complex is located on a hillock of Nasirabad, considered to be a holy place and attracts a large number of visitors and pilgrims daily.

Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery: This cemetery was established to show the honor for the soldiers and others who died in World War II. The cemetery was created by the British Army, and there were originally about 400 burials. Graves have since been transferred to this cemetery from the Lushai Hills (Assam) and other isolated sites, and from Chittagong Civil Cemetery; Chandragona Baptist Mission Cemetery; Chiringa Military Cemetery; Cox's Bazar New Military and Civil (Muhammadan) Cemeteries; Chittagong (Panchalaish) Burial Ground; Dhaka Military Cemetery; Demagiri Cemetery; Dhuapolong Muslim Burial Ground; DhuapolongChristian Military Cemetery; Dohazari Military and R.A.F. Cemeteries; Jessore Protestant Cemetery; Khulna Cemetery; Khurushkul Island Christian and Muhammadan Cemeteries; Lungleh Cemetery (Assam); Nawapara Cemetery (Assam); Patiya Military Cemetery, Rangamati Cemetery, Tejgaon Roman Catholic Cemetery, Tumru Ghat Military Cemetery and Tumru M.D.S. Hospital Cemetery. There are now 731 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-45 war here, 17 of which are unidentified. There are a further 20 foreign national burials, 1 being a seaman of the Dutch Navy and 19 Japanese soldiers, 1 of which is unidentified. There are also 4 non-war U.K. military burials.

Zia Memorial Museum: This museum is housed in an interesting mock-Tudor mansion. Among its much-revered collection is the microphone and transmitter with which President Zia proclaimed the country's independence in 1971

Vatiary Lake: Vatiary Lake is an attractive place with lake, jungles, trees, and swish curvy roads. It's good for biking, seafaring and fishing additionally out there here. Everything regarding the place is awe-inspiring. There's a cafe24 there relish some smart foods can just like it.

Patenga Beach: Patenga is a popular tourist spot. The beach is very close to the Bangladesh Naval Academy of the Bangladesh Navy and Shah Amanat International Airport. Its width is narrow and swimming in the seas is not recommended. Part of the seashore is built-up with concrete walls, and large blocks of stones have been laid to prevent erosion.
Karnaphuli River: Karnaphuli the largest and most important river in Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts, is a 667-metre (2,188 ft) wide river in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. Originating from the Lushai hills in Mizoram, India, it flows 270 kilometers (170 mi) southwest through Chittagong Hill Tracts and Chittagong into the Bay of Bengal. A large hydroelectric power plant using Karnaphuli River was built in the Kaptai region during the 1960s. The mouth of the river hosts Chittagong's sea port, the main port of Bangladesh.
